MAKING A RESERVATION
To confirm a reservation we require your contact information, a valid credit card number on file, deposit, and a signature on your rental contract. The deposit is equal to 25% of your order total and is applied towards your final balance. Your order will not be considered ‘reserved’ until a deposit and signed contract are received.
All orders must be placed and paid a week prior to the event’s date. No same day orders.
The company/and or person who has made the booking is liable for all payment. Payment will be required before the event via credit/debit card. Credit card payments incur a 3% surcharge. Cash is the only method of payment which is accepted on the day and the person renting the equipment must be there at the time the equipment is delivered to pay in cash.
We require 25% deposit to book the furniture for your event. The balance 75% must be paid a week prior to the event’s date by the same person and credit card, mentioned in billing part of the invoice, or by cash on the day of delivery.
Supplier may request credit card details or a bond to cover for any damages, theft, cleaning or inability to access the equipment to be picked up at the agreed time. By making a booking, you authorise for your credit card to be charged in the case that any equipment is lost, stolen, damaged or unable to be picked up.
Sales tax will be added to the total cost.
On the delivery Rent For Event NYC requests a valid driver’s license or picture identification and reserves the right to make a copy.
The Renter must inspect and check all equipment and notify Supplier at the time of delivery if there is any equipment missing, damaged or unfit for use.
24 hours is a rental period.
Loss, damage and destruction fees
If any equipment suffers damage, loss or destruction, you agree to pay the entirety of the necessary costs to replace it at retail value or to pay the bill for repairing.
If branding is applied by outside service, it must be removed before pick up or additional charges will be applied.
Pickup from the warehouse
We do not have self pickup service. All furniture will be delivered and pick up by our company to/from the event’s place.
All equipment is for rental purposes only. We have no responsibility for damage or other liability of any kind resulting from the use or malfunction of the equipment. You agrees that the limit of our liability is limited to a refund of the actual RENTAL Charge ONLY. The equipment remains the property of Supplier at all times. The hirer may not transfer this contract to another party without written consent of Supplier.
No warranty is provided by Supplier for the equipment’s fitness for any particular use.
– A deposit 25% is not refundable, if a cancelation occurs anytime before the delivery date, the deposit will not be refunded;
– Balance 75% will be refunded within 3-5 business days, if a cancelation occurs a week (7 days) before the delivery date;
– Bookings cancelled less then a week (7 days) before the delivery date incur a 100% cancellation fee;
– Balance 75% can be transferred to another event’s date, if applicable.
By signing this agreement, you give Rent For Event NYC permission to use the photos that we take at your event on our website and advertisements, materials, etc, with the understanding that you will not profit from them in any way.
If Certificate of Insurance( COI ) is needed
If you need a certificate of insurance (COI) please e-mail your building requirements at least 2 business days before the event.
$104 COI fee will be added to your invoice.
If your building requires a COI for delivery and you did not request one from us and we go to deliver and your building wont let us in because we have no COI we will leave and you will not be refunded for your order.
In the event we were allowed to deliver without a COI because of the buildings neglected to ask for a COI and is now asking for one for the pick up of our rentals and does not give us access you will be billed $104 for COI for pick up.
